Privacy & terms
We collect almost nothing, we sell nothing, and we don't track you around the internet. This page is the long version, written the way we write everything: plainly.
What we collect#
If you request access, we collect the email address you give us. We use it for one thing: contacting you about access and launch. Like most websites, our servers also keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for a short time, for security and to keep the site running.
What we don't do#
No advertising trackers. No analytics scripts. No tracking cookies. No selling, renting, or trading your data, to anyone, for anything. No profiles built about you. If any of that ever changes, this page changes first and says so in plain words.
Third parties#
One, and we did not add it to the page ourselves. This site is served through Cloudflare, and Cloudflare injects its own Web Analytics beacon (static.cloudflareinsights.com) into each page, which reports page views to them. As the network in front of this site, Cloudflare also sees your IP address for every request.
Beyond that: nothing. We add no analytics of our own, no tag managers, no embedded widgets, and no advertising or tracking pixels. The fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so loading a page here makes no request to a font CDN.
The products#
Convexity, Vexa, Atava, and Mimir will each carry their own in-product privacy terms at launch. The standing rule they inherit: data you connect is yours. Linked accounts and personal holdings stay in your account, are never sold or shared, and are erasable on request.
Your choices#
Want off the early-access list? Say so and we delete your email. That's the whole procedure.

Terms
This is a pre-launch marketing site. These terms cover using it. They are short because the site does little: it shows you what we're building and takes an email address if you offer one.
Not investment advice#
Nothing on this site, and nothing in any Optera product, is investment, legal, or tax advice. Optera builds research tools and information surfaces. Decisions are yours, markets carry risk, and past performance does not predict future results. If you need advice, talk to a licensed professional who knows your situation.
Illustrative figures#
Figures on these pages that demonstrate the interface are labeled illustrative sample and are exactly that: samples, not live market data. The exceptions are the four measured data-substrate figures, which are footnoted with their measurement source and an as-of date, and the source registry, which is real and dated.
Early access#
Joining the early list means we may email you about access. It creates no obligation in either direction: you can leave the list at any time, and we don't guarantee timing, pricing, or availability of any product before it ships.
Content and ownership#
The site's content, design, and the Optera wordmark belong to Optera. Quote it with attribution all you like; don't republish it wholesale or pass it off as yours.
No warranties#
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties and aren't liable for decisions made on the basis of marketing content. When the products launch, each will carry its own terms covering actual use.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
