The story

Why this exists.

The gate

For decades the choice was rigged. If you could pay five figures a year, you got the terminal, the data contracts, and a team whose whole job was checking the work. If you couldn't, you got headlines, hot takes, and whatever an app decided to show you.

The cheap answer

Then AI made the wrong thing cheaper. Answers got fast, confident, and unaccountable. The tools that could afford rigor kept it behind the gate; the tools everyone could afford asked you to just trust them. Trustworthy or affordable: pick one.

The engine

Optera exists to end that trade. We built one engine that does the hard part, finding what a number connects to, what it means, and what it becomes, and we point it at everyone. Quality made affordable, not cheap-because-worse. Not a lite version of the good stuff. The good stuff, priced like it should have been all along.

Six rules we build by.

01CompleteOne engine, every layer. A real question crosses filings, prices, news, and the map between them; the answer should too.
02OpenFor the price of lunch, not a salary. Opening the gate is the business model, not a promotion.
03HonestSourced or withheld. When the engine cannot check a number, it says so instead of guessing.
04ClearPlain language over jargon. If an answer cannot be said simply, it is not understood yet.
05InventiveWe build the missing instruments. Where a map or a proof does not exist, we make one.
